Energy Routine Part 3

Welcome to Monday!
Today we’re going over part 3 of our 3-part daily routine for maximizing energy levels.
Over the previous 2 weeks, we’ve covered an energizing morning routine and daily practices that will optimize your energy levels.

The Momentum Evening Routine
This routine has 3 parts:
- Reflection
- Resetting
- Dark mode
Reflection
You must always be reflecting.
This is how you progress in anything. Life is simply iteration.
At the end of the day, ask yourself these questions:
- What did I do well?
- What didn’t I do well?
- What progress did I make?
- What will I do better tomorrow?
Resetting
It’s crucial that you take time daily to reset.
You can’t continually go without ever pausing. You’ll burn out or at the very least you’ll be much less effective.
Figure out a ritual that will help you reset.
- Walk
- Prayer
- Journaling
- Meditation
- Time with loved ones
Dark Mode
At least 30 minutes before bed (but ideally one hour) start your dark mode:
- No overhead lights
- Warm colored bulbs
- No screens
- No stimulation (news, stressful conversations, engaging non-fiction)
This is time for your mind and body to prepare for sleep.
And good quality sleep is crucial for optimizing energy.
That’s it for your evening routine.
Now you’ll be refreshed and reset to wake up in the morning full of energy, clarity, and purpose.
